Whether you work in a home office or if you have a cubicle in a corporate environment, you can work towards having a feng shui office layout that will help improve your wealth and success.
We'll start with what is probably the most restrictive environment. I would be if you're working in a corporate office in a small cubicle, or even sharing a cubicle with other people. In this case it's not likely you'll be able to change the position of your desk or where you sit in relation to that cubicle.
Corner Office Desks
Ideally you want to keep the doorway somewhere in front of you, preferably where you can see it but not where you are directly in front of it. Unfortunately most office managers position the doorway behind their employees, which makes for very bad energy. The solution for this is to get a small mirror a complacent your desk or next your monitor that will let you see the doorway.
This has the advantage of keeping you aware of who's coming and going out of your workspace, and giving you some control over that feng shui office space and energy.
A side consequence of having your back to the door, is that typically you will be facing a corner. While this may be efficient for space, is not good for your peace of mind. You can soften a sharp corner by placing something between you and that corner. One way to blunt the effect of a corner is to hang a small fabric curtain in that corner. That effectively eliminates the corner and give you something more pleasant to look at.
Another way to blunt the corner would be to place the plant in the corner. This also do something nice to look at and also helps keep up living energy in workspace.
Water is an important aspect of feng shui, but most employers would not take kindly to employees having fountains on their desks. So rather than risk educating management, find a photograph of your favorite waterfall or other body of water to either place on your desk or even use a water image as your computer screen background or screensaver.
Also, keep a bottle of water around for drinking on your desk. It's not only good for your feng shui is important to keep drinking water as part of your overall health. If your boss allows wearing headphones, try listening to recordings of natural running water, like small streams or brooks. This will help keep you more calm and focused than most popular music.
Finally, the simplest thing that you can do to help your feng shui office design, is to keep your desk free of clutter. For many the state of your desk is a reflection of your state of mind.
The state of your working space can also influence your state of mind. If your desk is organized will help to organize your mind and your spirit which will help to bring you more success and wealth. These are a few simple things that you can work on that most people may not even notice when they look at your office, but can make a big difference with your happiness.
